Resumo
Objective: The aim of this study is to identify the values shared by the members of the Federal Prosecutor's Office of the 5th Region (PRU5) and to what extent deterritorialization maintains these values. Methodology: This is a qualitative study, based on the collection of secondary data, with the selection of ordinances, normative acts and statistical data on the process of deterritorialization in the PRU5, as well as, at a later stage, the collection of primary data through 20 semistructured interviews. The data obtained was processed, coded and categorized using the content analysis technique, highlighting points of interest in the speech and allowing tables to be drawn up showing the frequency of words, clouds with the most quoted words and a structured matrix with the most relevant quotes. Results: The results show that the members of PRU5 share values that reflect the AGU's institutional mission and are described in its strategic planning as transparency, public interest,
commitment and innovation. De-territorialization maintained these values to the extent that it
generated a great effort to adapt and integrate the teams, which by sharing the challenges and results increased their sense of belonging to the agency, reinforcing characteristics of the organizational identity such as responsibility and knowledge sharing. Limitations: the study's limitations include the small number of participants (twenty interviewees), out of a workforce of just over three hundred PRU5 members. The nonprobabilistic sampling technique does not provide statistical rigor to the results found, which makes it difficult to generalize the findings to other Federal Public Administration bodies that
are experiencing a similar reality. Applicability of the work: the management of the PRU5, as well as other regional units of the AGU, can benefit from the themes and discussions presented in the research in correlation with
the dimensions of the theory of public value, contributing to a better achievement of results and improving the process of deterritorialization Contributions to society: understanding how technological, structural, organizational changes in an institution can make public servants reassess their concepts about organizational values and public value, generating effects that can be positive (identification) or negative (frustration)
for the corporation, regarding the organizational climate, internal relationships, motivation and productivity.
Originality: given the changes caused by the process of deterritorialization, the results of this research can serve as an assessment and input in the decision-making process of AGU managers.
