Resumo
Objective: To analyze the perceptions of employees at the Attorney General's Office in Roraima about teleworking and verify whether there are influences of this type of work on organizational social relations and well-being. Methodology: Research carried out using the exploratory and qualitative method, with the application of questionnaires with open and closed questions, based on content analysis, in addition to bibliographical research, notably in recently published articles and legislation applied to the topic. Results: The research inferred that employees' perception of teleworking is positive, mainly because of the flexible working hours and location, despite the significant decrease in formal and informal social interactions with other employees and the increase in the volume of tasks. Limitations: With regard to limitations of the study, it is possible to mention the small number of research participants (30 people) compared to the total number of employees of the Federal Attorney General's Office, in addition to the fact that it is limited to just one administrative unit in a the only unit of the Brazilian federation. Applicability of work: Every day, citizens need to turn to the Public Administration and the public servant is the legitimate representative of the latter before society. Understanding how work takes place and its impacts on the well-being of employees is important so that People Management can improve and rethink personnel policies. Research Contributions: Contribute to the improvement of the teleworking regime within the scope of the Attorney General's Office, by analyzing the perception of employees, positively or negatively, mainly regarding the impacts of distance work on social relationships, motivation , well-being and mental health. In this sense, this research serves to assist the senior management of the Federal Attorney General's Office in making decisions that impact the improvement of the quality of the work of civil servants. Originality: This research contributes to understanding the importance of social interaction in the organizational environment and its impacts on both the entity and employees. Considering that there are still few studies published on this subject, this represents an original and enlightening contribution to the topic.
