Sobre o perfil pedagógico de Anísio Teixeiraensaio avaliatório de sua contribuição à educação do Brasil

Resumo

The present study is an appraisal on the contribution Anizio Teixeira has brought to education in Brazil since 1924, with relation to ideas and practical achievements. The identification of the ideas was the outcome of comprehensive research on primary bibliographical sources: 236 titles and 3 inquires, what has brought forth 10 concepts, leadered by democracy. The practical accomplishments, besides the literary works, consist of plans, projects, erection, and repairer of school-buildings of first and second grades and universities, research and teaching support institutions, social assistance organizations, by means of public, normative, executive, and teaching positions and assignments, both in state and federal ranges. Owing to his remarkable asset of achievements, Anizio Teixeira must undoubtedly be reputed as the most expressive educational personality in Brazilian Pedagogy, on which by means of commissions, representations and individual participations in lectures and courses in Europe and American Countries, has cast the vigor of his intelligence and the carefulness to Pedagogy in his country.
