Organizational change in health care public system a methodological drawing

Resumo

In this article is discussed the way Fundap has been working with organizational change in public health care organizations. Its basic focus is the so-called action-research method where knowledge comes from the interaction consultant/client. This process promotes institutional development and will attain efficacy whether leaders and members of the organization commit themselves with the change proposals. Changing speeches does not work. Practices shall be changed. In the Health care field changing process results from the group understanding of new health care proposals which gives strength to new organizational arrangements. Consultancy is a process which occurs within a specific time and in a certain political and organizational circumstance. It is a dynamic and interactive process to what the organization shall be committed.
