O Programa Novo Rio Pinheiros e a despoluição do córrego Zavuvuspropostas para manutenção e perenidade das benfeitorias obtidas no programa

Resumo

The Project Tietê aims to universalize the Sanitary Sewer System, sewage collection and sewage treatment in the Watershed of Alto Tietê. Within the scope of Project Tietê, a large number of smaller programs have been implemented by Sabesp and the Secretary of Infrastructure and Environment of the government of São Paulo, such as the Clean Stream Project and the New Pinheiros River Project, which has the participation of a large number of government bodies, with the goal of depollution of Pinheiros river until the end of 2022. Considering the problems and necessities of the New Pinheiros River Project, we intend to identify the challenges and opportunities concerning the conservation and extending the benefits already achieved by Sabesp, and present a proposition of actions and governance that can be implemented in order to keep the structures during a long period of time and maintaining the Pinheiros river clean, while the knowledge can be applied in other rivers and supply reservoirs of the Metropolitan Area of São Paulo. The first works of the New Pinheiros River Project were related to the depollution of Zavuvus stream, which included structuring constructions, built to implement the sewage emission collectors, interceptor, trunk collector and sewage elevated stations. In addition, the depollution of Zavuvus stream was a complex action that required the celebration of performance contracts, socialenvironmental actions, and social communication. In this context, we analyzed the alternatives for keeping the well-succeeded actions implemented on the depollution of Zavuvus stream, so that the benefits achieved can be perpetuated and replicated to the other streams on Tietê Project.
