Resumo

The project is about the creation process for a website for the Memory Center for the Brazilian Psychiatric Association (BPA). The website will be available for public consultation and will have free access, and will feature interviews, official documents, photos, personal archives and institutional collections. This fifty-year-old association has participated in several important moments in the development of Brazilian medicine, which justifies retelling its history. The method of the work follows the premises of Oral History, the discussion of Memory and the creation of a documentation center and personal archives for digitalization, in order to support the creation of the aforementioned center. I will be the curator of the existing material offered by the association, as well as the historical research and interviews. A company was hired to design the layout and develop the website at its own expense. At the end of the project, the website will be donated to the association and administered institutionally.
