The municipalization in unified systems and decentralized health (Suds)

Resumo

The aim of this article is to contribute to an analysis of managerial decentralization of the health sector, by offering a set of informative material on municipalization, as the matter stands from July, 1987 to July, 1989, in each state of the Brazilian federation. Such material is formed by reports from state Secretaries of Health themselves, and from some of their interventions which occurred in Regional Meetings for Suds Appraisal, promoted by the Conass, the collected data propitiating the opening of several paths for analysis. In addition to this presentation, the writer points out some conditioning factors of the process and finishes by accentuating the aspects more frequently stressed by the Secretaries' reasoning.
