The issue of agrarian reform

Resumo

We are intent to briefly analyzing in this article, some points of the agrarian reform in Brazil. The issuing by the government of a Proposal for Designing the New Republic's National Plan has stirred up - and still continues stirring up-a series of crises both within public administration and in confront with society at large. How to divide between people the country's natural resources? Which criteria should be followed? How to make available to men the distribution of resources in such a way as it may be advantageous primarily to those who handle said resources? And, moreover, how to avoid same resources being handed over to groups lesse apt do profit from their use? These are some of the questions behind the agrarian reform, and we analyse, therefore, the land structural pattern, the Statute of Land, large - and small - landed properties and the New Republic's agrarian reform.
