Resumo
State fragility and climate change are global phenomena that have drawn the attention of specialists in recent years. The aim of this article is to verify whether there is any relation between the increase in the fragility of a State and its climate vulnerability. We selected ten countries that most increased their fragility and ten that most reduced their fragility between 2011 and 2020. Our analysis combined two indexes: FSI and ND-GAIN. We concluded that there is a direct proportionality relation between an increase or decrease in the degree of fragility of a country and an increase or decrease in its degrees of climate vulnerability, but we also found some exceptions that we needed to explain.
