Sociologia digital e as mudanças no ofício do cientista social

Resumo

Being in both international context of accelerated technology disruption and national context of devaluation of academic researchers within social sciences, all of the big questions that used to asked in the realm of sociology or anthropology are now being taken to be answered by enterprises and big corporations. With that, we face a clear necessity on understanding how social sciences disciplines are adapting to all fast-paced changed, and how the evolution of the so what called digital sociology has been occurring in the last decade, to understand what are the challenges and until where can digital sociology go to contribute with the current scenario. It’s necessary to understand in Brazil’s context how the future social scientists are being trained to handle the new forms of relationship that digital can bring to their working environment and also if they have the interest to perceive the path of learning how to use new forms of tools and digital methodologies.
