Sistema Unificado De Administração Pública (SUAP)um projeto pela inovação e transformação digital na gestão educacional

Resumo

The innovative capacity of organizations and countries is a source of competitiveness, dividends and successive increases in income. In the private sector, the theme is the source of several studies and raises the importance of associating it with information and communication technology in open, digital innovation initiatives that support digital transformation. Likewise, in the public sector, there are a series of efforts by different countries to create an ecosystem of less bureaucracy and incentives, especially in Brazil, as well as the application of concepts to public policies. Digital technologies facilitate the traffic of information and exchanges between networks, creating a boosting and exponential environment for interactions between government, academia, companies and society. In this sense, this Teaching Case with Teaching Notes addresses the evolutionary scenario since the development of an integrated management system called SUAP (Unified Public Administration System) by the Instituto Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) and its expansion to the rest of the country by the Federal Education Network. It considers the advances related to the digital transformation that it has allowed, as well as the challenge of making the maintenance of functionalities compatible without losing the capacity for innovation, above all through the collaboration of the community of partner institutions. This teaching case is applicable to undergraduate and graduate courses in Public and Business Administration, Information Technology, Licentiate and Pedagogical Training.
