Os desafios estruturais da educação no contexto amazônico de Juruti (PA) e uma análise das políticas educacionais na região

Resumo

This dissertation seeks to understand the main structural obstacles faced by two schools in Juruti, examining the perceptions of administrators, educators, and guardians regarding these challenges. Additionally, it evaluates the effectiveness of key educational public policies implemented in the municipality, offering recommendations that consider the specific characteristics of the Amazonian territory. The study is grounded in the recognition of the constitutional right to education and the complexity of ensuring this right in remote areas of the Amazon, which face structural inequalities in access, retention, learning, and infrastructure. The methodology employed is exploratory and qualitative, aiming to deepen the understanding of the phenomenon within a specific context. The research highlights the precarious state of school infrastructure and the lack of territorially informed planning, which pose significant barriers. The dissertation underscores the need for public policies that are more attuned to regional dynamics to promote equitable and quality education in the Amazon, while also acknowledging the strategies adopted by local actors who serve as voluntary agents through innovative practices.
