O processo de auto-avaliação Institucional do Sistema Nacional de Avaliação da Educação Superior - SINAES como ferramenta de gestão Estratégica nas IESum estudo de caso

Resumo

The objective of the present paper is to show the importance of the process of solemnity-evaluation of SINAES National System of Evaluation of the Superior Education SINAES as a tool of Strategic Administration in the higher education institutions. It aims to identify the strong points and weak of the solemnity-evaluation system; to make comparative analyses concerning the level of development of the works of solemnity-avalição in some IES and to identify the positioning of some managers of the higher education institutions as for the use of the process of solemnity-evaluation of SINAES in the strategic administration of IES. The research had as base the case study accomplished in the FAMA Faculdade Atenas Maranhense that held our institutional evaluation and a research accomplished in eight higher education institutions with the application of questionnaires to the managers of those institutions. The relevance of the research concentrates on the search of identifying some higher education institutions, in agreement with the defined sample and that their are reached by the Law 10.861, they already concluded the evaluation process, as well as, the dimensions are used worked as instruments of strategic administration, what is constituted in a significant contribution, so much for the academic middle, as business. It Defends the idea that the institutional evaluation, as a complex practice, requests our narrows linked to the whole process decision in IES, especially of those that concern the most substantive subjects for the maintenance and growth of that institution. It was ended that in the FAME, Faculdade Atenas Maranhense, the solemnity-evaluation is aiding the managers in the enlargement of the vision about the institution and they improve our the weakest points.
