Resumo
This research is the result of the dissertation of a master’s degree in Judicial Power, ministered for the Foundation Getúlio Vargas. The research has as general objective to comprehend as the psychic suffering appears in the exercise of the jurisdictional activity and the consequences happened of these in the life of the judge, directing the attention to the necessity of professional accompanying, verifying the prevalence of the symptoms of stress in this activity. The subjects, which constituted the sample, through their responses, were fifty (50) judges of the Court of Justice of the State of Rondônia, of whom eight (8) have between less than five years of career; twelve (12) have between five and ten years of career; nine (9) have between ten and fifteen years of career; thirteen (13) have fifteen and twenty years of career; eight (8) with more than twenty years of career. With theoretical support obtained in the review of the literature, it procedures the application of instruments and analysis of obtained data through the questionnaire submitted to the target population.Through the interviews, it was possible to found that the structure of the judicial acts of decisive form to professional suffering, in view of the excessive burden of work and the types of judged demands, being necessary a psychological base to the magistrates.
