O limiar de custo-efetividadepossíveis alternativas para o Brasil

Resumo

A bill is being evaluated by the Brasilian Federal Senate, which determines the creation of a threshold of cost effectiveness in the evaluation of technologies to be made available in the scope of the Brazilian Unified Health System. The motivation of this project is the increasing judicial determinations in favor of Brazilian citizens who claim medicines that are not incorporated by the system. Several models of cost-effectiveness evaluation can be used, and there are several experiences that can be used by Brazil to find a transparent method that seeks the balance between ensuring equity of access while maximizing the health of the population as a whole.
