Memórias sobre a(s) biblioteca(s) da Faculdade Nacional de Filosofia (FNFi) durante a ditadura militar (1964-1968)

Resumo

Considered the most politicized Brazilian university in the 1960`s, with a strong and active student movement Faculdade Nacional de (FNFi) was severely repressed and watched by the military dictatorship. By being aware that a great deal of universities went through censorship and were repressed during the years of the dictatorship term, the aim of this work is to analyze the impact of the 1964 military coup and the process of the institutionalization of the authoritarian regime that followed it on the libraries then existing in FNFi. As a final product, I have created the outline of a podcast organized in 2 episodes: the first one analyzes the changes which took place in Brazilian Universities, in particular at FNFi after the coup; the second one tells the history of FNFi and its libraries, with emphasis on what happened to themafterthe 1964 military coup. For that, we have done research in files and in newspapers, besides having interviewed former students from FNFi.
