Resumo
Objective: The main purpose of the study was to evaluate the impact of the Prevbarco program on riverside communities in the Guaporé-Mamoré and Baixo Madeira regions, focusing on the quality of and access to social security services in these areas. Methodology: The research adopted a quantitative and qualitative approach through the application of questionnaires in the communities of these regions. Jamovi software was used for statistical analysis, including comparison techniques to identify relationships between variables such as income and perception of services, among others. Main results: User satisfaction was found in the Guaporé-Mamoré region, where the Prevbarco service is present, in contrast to the Baixo Madeira region, which does not receive the service. There was a significant difference in the perception of the quality of the social security service between the regions, and a correlation between access to Prevbarco and an improvement in the income and quality of life of the beneficiaries. Limitations: The research was limited to the universe surveyed, and it is difficult to generalize the results to all the riverside regions. Suggestions: Replication of the research in other Amazonian contexts. Contributions: The research presented contributions that can be divided as follows: Social: The research provides relevant data to justify the continuity and expansion of public policies such as Prevbarco, promoting social inclusion and access to social security rights in remote areas. Academic: The study contributes to the literature on public policies in the Amazon, with a special focus on social security inclusion, a topic that has not yet been explored in the region. This research fills a significant gap, providing new perspectives on the implementation and impact of social security policies in remote areas of the Amazon. Professional: It provides input for managers and policymakers, suggesting improvements to social security policies based on regional needs. Originality: The research stands out for its comparative approach between two geographical areas of the Rondonian Amazon, with different realities in terms of access to social security services, providing some contributions on the relationship between public policies and social inclusion in remote regions
