Governança públicaa evolução do tema na OCDE e as diretrizes para o Brasil

Resumo

The OECD has discussed public governance issues at least since the 1990s. The Public Governance Committee was created in 1996. Since then, the OECD has given special attention to this area because it considers that an efficient government and that makes good use of public resources delivers better public services to its citizens. This study explains the evolution of this issue at the OECD and how the Organization defines public governance, its areas and the legal instruments available to encourage OECD members to comply with public governance guidelines. It also points out issues and values for which Brazil would have to comply with in order to accede to the OECD as a full member.
