Gestão de projetos no âmbito do Ministério da Saúde

Resumo

Objective – This research aims at understanding how concepts related to Project Management can contribute to the monitoring of processes regarding the projects signed by Decentralized Execution Term (TED - Portuguese acronym) in the scope of the Secretaria of Work
 Management and Health Education (SGTES - Portuguese acronym), from the Ministry of Health (MS - Portuguese acronym). Methodology – A qualitative research was carried out, based on bibliographic and documental analysis procedures to collect data. Data treatment, results exposure, interpretation and discussion were carried out by means of content analysis. Results – The research revealed the presence of initiatives aimed at project management within the Ministry of Health. The 192-project analysis carried out, between 2013 and 2021, suggested the conformity of the use of decentralized public resources in the conduction of projects. However, it indicated the need to apply project management. Limitations – There is a restriction inherent to technology, due to the instability presented by the Electronic Information System (SEI - Portuguese acronym), when collecting the data. Applicability of the work – To understand the possibilities of application of project management and itsimportance in achieving the institutional and strategic objectives of a public agency. Thus, contributing to the operation of the public machine with efficiency and
 effectiveness and, consequently, to the improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens.
