Gestão de patrimônio público móvel da Prefeitura Municipal de São Pauloproposta de criação de acervo de figurinos para artes cênicas

Resumo

With the goal of supporting initiatives to promote the performing arts area, this work aims at presenting a business plan for the creation of a public costume collection to receive, preserve, organize, and make available for rental costumes donated by independent performing arts groups in São Paulo city. The study proposes that the implementation of the business plan as well as its operation are made possible through funds raised by the Federal Law for Promotion of Culture in a partnership between the Municipal Department of Culture and a social organization. A public mechanism is also suggested so that the costumes, considered mobile public asset, are incorporated into a public asset, when the donation to the costume collection is made. To achieve the research objectives, different methods were used for data gathering: literature review with emphasis on public policies, mobile public asset, donation, and public costume collection; semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. It is of public interest that, once this public costume collection is created, it is made accessible to the general public involved in artistic manifestations, such as schools, amateur or professional groups in the performing arts, events, religious festivals, social projects, among others. These aspects reveal the topicality of the theme, which directly concerns the potentialization of public sector resources.
