Entre a insegurança e a busca por oportunidadesjuventude, emprego e políticas públicas no Brasil

Resumo

This study investigates the perceptions of student leaders from Brazil's five regions regarding insecurity, opportunities, and public policies on youth employment. Through semi-structured interviews with 19 participants, it analyzes how they interpret transformations in the labor market, evaluate public policies, and construct strategies in the face of precariousness. The theoretical framework articulates the youth-to-work transition, structural inequalities, technological transformations, and professional insertion policies. Thematic analysis identified seven themes: Paradox of Empty Qualification, Conscious Intersectional Discriminations, Precariousness as Generational Normality, Generative AI: Sophisticated Ambivalence, Existential Insecurity and Impossible Future, Civil Service Examination as Escape Horizon, and Public Policies: Lack of Knowledge and Discredit. The results contribute to the debate on youth, work, and citizenship and to more inclusive and effective public policies.
