Inteligência artificial e o paradoxo do progressodesigualdade, precariedade laboral e políticas públicas para uma sociedade pós-automação

Resumo

This dissertation examines the structural paradoxes triggered by the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on the transformation of labor. It focuses on the tensions between technological innovation, labor precarization, and social inequality. The study starts from the premise that, despite AI’s transformative potential to liberate human beings from repetitive tasks and enhance creative capabilities, it has been largely deployed to reinforce economic concentration, intensify labor exploitation, and create new forms of algorithmic control. Using a qualitative and theoretical-analytical approach, the research draws upon the fields of political economy of technology, sociology of labor, and critical studies on algorithmic governance. Public policy experiences from countries such as Finland, Uruguay, and Germany are examined, alongside emerging models of digital co-governance and alternative ownership structures. The dissertation advocates for a new technosocial pact grounded in democratic values, socioeconomic equity, sustainability, and the cultivation of human capabilities. It concludes that the future of AI is not technologically predetermined, but rather shaped by political disputes, normative choices, and society’s collective ability to steer innovation toward the common good.
