Resumo

Artificial intelligence is a part of computer science that evaluates a large amount of data to recognize patterns through various algorithms to contribute to decision making by improving its own functioning with big data analysis. The great part of healthcare market can benefit greatly from the use of artificial intelligence to streamline processes, diagnostics and offer a better patient care. In this line, the specialty Dermatology, a medical specialty based on analysis of skin lesions and their correlation with the clinical picture presents a business opportunity for this Applicability. Dermatology has a delay in the diagnosis of the patient, since most diseases need a biopsy to confirm the pathology, taking time for the doctor to be able to apply the most appropriate treatment. The goal of the project is to create the "Diagnology App" and a portal in which the doctor can photograph the skin lesions through the smartphone and with the use of artificial intelligence and big data, the computer can suggest the most probable diagnoses to expedite patient care. The company will be built on Business Plan structure and pivot the changes deemed necessary. To start the company, a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) will have to be executed to validate the idea in a restricted group of dermatologists and patients, keeping the biopsies for treatment to confront the result of the App with the anatomopathological and after Approval by the ethics council of the chosen group. With the validation of the idea, the adjustments will be made, and the pilot will be proposed that the doctor will treat the patient without the diagnosis of the biopsy in hand, but still subjecting the patient to the invasive procedure. After this phase, all data will be validated, and the company will disclose the accuracy, sensitivity and specialty data for the medical teams. In the end, we will evaluate the Applicability of the company in clinical practice and how it will be the model for scalability, focusing on the best clinical care and reducing the time between diagnosis and treatment. Artificial intelligence in medicine does not have the role of replacing the physician, it is only a tool to optimize the time of the professional and the patient more accurately in the proposed diagnoses.
