Análise de regressão da relação existente entre a governança pública e a eficiência na gestão de recursos federais nos municípios brasileiros no ano de 2021

Resumo

The Municipal Governance Index (IGM) evaluates good practices of municipal governance, guiding managers with important information about the performance of the municipality. Given this, this dissertation aims to investigate the relationship between adherence to public
 governance mechanisms measured by the IGM-CFA and the efficiency in the management of agreements agreed upon through the Mais Brasil Platform in the 5568 Brazilian municipalities in the year 2021, in order to point out the factors that can negatively influence the IGM. For this objective to be achieved, a quantitative research approach was adopted, being essentially bibliographical, since, for its development, references were sought in scientific articles and websites related to the topic, as well as available data to establish the indicators used. The research also addresses the use of statistical data compiled by the Federal Administration Council and the Ministry of Economy. The study pointed out that, in Brazil, the performance index in the Management of Discretionary and Legal Transfers from the Union has a significant degree of correlation with the Municipal Management Index.
