Resumo

In this present work we have discussed about the phenomenon which the world has witnessed in the last few decades, the Political Judicialization, in which courts have increasingly strengthened their powers. In this new setting, Judicialization is being accompanied by the Constitutionalism and by the Judicial Review. Theoretical approaches to this theme are themselves not able to serve as a model for justifying each and every judicialization, but each one of them serves to explain in which way it has been happening in a given country. Here in Brazil, one important name used to address such judiciary rising is known as supremocracia, and in one of the approaches made, which is actually related to its origin, that is, to the process of entrance of Ministers into the supreme court, the STF, through an examination process, named 'Sabatina', which is accomplished by the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission, named Comissão de Constituição, Justiça e Cidadania. The study is centered by this analysis in order to verify the political and juridical dynamics of recruiting ministers into our supreme court.
