A influência da cultura brasileira na implantação de novas técnicas gerenciais na administração pública

Resumo

Purpose – Understand how the Brazilian organizational culture influenced the implementation of new management techniques by the public administration. design/methodology /approach – Case study. Findings – The results obtained in the research indicate that there were differences between the traditional paths of public administration and the paths adopted during the special needs arising from the COVID-19 pandemic (between 2020 and 2021). In the study of strategic action, the focus of the research, it was noticeable the influence of national culture on public
 administration, which were broken due to the need of the moment in which the country was.
 Research limitations/implications – The study was limited to the planning and implementation of the strategic action O Brasil Conta Comigo – Acadêmicos, launched by the Ministry of Health’s Health Work and Education Management Secretariat, and its compatibility with the public administration structure and in the adjustments and adaptations that were necessary for its implementation. Practical implications – The study leads to an analysis of the influence of national culture on public administration and how this influence can affect the implementation of new management techniques such as agile methodology
