Resumo

This study aims to analyze the All news format of news, fundamentally characterized by the journalism of service provision and public utility. For this purpose, three relevant radio stations (JB, CBN and Bandnews) from the municipality of Rio de Janeiro are used as reference. In addition to the conceptual debate, the way in which information was structured, production processes, the target audience, the selection of the subjects covered and the definition of the guidelines on a daily basis was observed. To observe these aspects specifically in the three stations investigated, interviews were carried out with professionals who work or worked in the aforementioned stations. The analysis allowed to observe that the All news modality practiced by the studied stations, is limited to the category of informative journalism. Also, it was found that the practice of All news on radio is not falling out of favor. Despite a scenario that seemed unfavorable, radio stations remain and may even have used new technologies to their advantage. However, the need for adaptation and adaptation to both new technologies and new demands from the public is emphasized.
