Resumo

The present dissertation it develops an analysis about the administration of costs and the use of the information for mana geria I aims, discussing their importance and potentialities for the business development. The work makes a conceptual revision regarding the administration of costs and their importance as essential input for the managerial activity, considering the Brazilian industry competitive atmosphere and it exposes visions regarding to the role and the importance ofthe administration of costs while administration instrument. It also suggests that the possibilities of final supply of information to the manager of decisions should be more explored by the administration of costs. The importance of the information of costs for managerial aims is illustrated through the administration model ofthe costs as decisive factor for the business development. lt was verified that the implantation and the readiness of information from the costs administration were decisive for the development of RGB Indústria Metalúrgica Ltda. It was concluded that the information of the administration of costs are indispensable elements to make the process ofbusiness development possible.
