Resumo
This dissertation focous on the analysis of the educational attendance of children, within ages ranging between 0 and 5 years old, in Araraquara City (SP), in the context of covid-19 pandemics and its return to presential learning. The research investigates the causes that may influence students' absence, from the perspective of Araraquara Department of Education professionals, the “Educational and Recreation Centres” (early childhood schools in Araraquara) and the families of the enrolled children. Specific documents, data related to children's participation and school registrations, as well as selected interviews were analysed and, from these explorations, this work seeks to expose possible paths to understand the “Educational and Recreation Centres” attendance behaviour and how to improve it.
