Work processan integrating approach to the management formation

Resumo

The objective of this article is to propose that conducting health work be an analysis category and steering channel for projects in management training for the sector. Having, at the same time, regard to both the general and particular, the authors analyse the health work process - units of work, specifications and dimensions - and compare distinct theoretical concepts historically built-up, with the organization of health practices, from the detailed breakdown of this subject, through those most in contact with the management process, the authors point out the possibility of complementing it with elements of organizational theory and with interfaces of this theory together with other areas of knowledge. By focussing on the "agent as an ethical being", the authors suggest how to overcome the mechanisms that produce alienation and propose evaluation criteria for services that go beyond the technical administrative dimension. To end up, they propose communicativeinteractive management mechanisms so that the autonomy, creativity and emancipation of decision-making can be favoured.
