Resumo
This article is a scope review of research in creative economy, new field in Brazilian postgraduate studies, in order to perceiving theoretical trends. To understand the articulations between the theoretical and practical fields, as well as the gaps, limitations and effects of these articulations, a survey was carried out in the Theses and Dissertations repositories (IBICT and Capes). The content analysis of the 273 documents showed an inter and multidisciplinary field, in theoretical construction, with a predominance of administrative perspective. Communication is a central factor in the development of theory and empirical reality still little explored. Liberal and developmental trends need greater articulation.
