Resumo
The present study has as its main objective the investigation of the relationship between the potential for organizational learning and the level of management quality among public organizations participating in the Brazilian Federal Government's Public Service Quality Program. The study's hypothesis is that the greater the level of management quality, the greater the potential for organizational learning. To measure the potential for organizational learning, the tool called the Organizational Learning Scale, developed by Goh and Richards (1997) was utilized, and which was modified to fit the Brazilian context. The analyses performed confirmed the research hypothesis. © 2005 by The Haworth Press, Inc. All rights reserved.
