Setor informal e gênerouma discussão conceitual e o caso da região metropolitana de São Paulo

Resumo

The question of women and work has been analysed from different theoretical approaches, which on their turn have been criticised for simplifying this complex issue. This work proposes to analyse the question of women and work in particular the women s role in precarious work from a perspective which incorporates gender. It is argued that it offers an analytical possibility which allows a deeper examination of the conditions and differences between women and men in the work sphere.
