Resumo
This is the second thematic report, developed within the research “Shaping the law practice of the present and future: skills and perspectives of legal professional activities”. In this paper, we sought to present possible concepts and terms often used in discussions about the future of law practice: soft skills and hard skills. In a non-exhaustive way, we mapped the literature on the subject to understand what is behind these concepts and how these skills are inserted in the legal field, in order to create a common language around these elements that will serve as a foundation for the next steps of the research, as well as for broader debates about the future of Law.
