Resumo
The discussion of the future of the advocacy at the context of relevant technological changes instigates a debate that brings together legal professionals, legal organizations, educational institutions and mobilizes us around a research question: how does the current training of legal professionals enable them to deal with the context of innovation and the increasing introduction of technology in legal services, legal offices and departments? Given the current scenario of deep transformations involving the legal professions, this research aims to identify and discuss: (i) skills and competencies required of legal professionals based on this new reality; (ii) new areas and opportunities for legal practice; (iii) the role and challenges of legal education.
