Resumo

On December 12, 2025, the seminar “Combating Disinformation in the Financial and Capital Markets” was held, organized by Zetta, the Núcleo de Estudos Avançados de Regulação do Sistema Financeiro Nacional (NEASF) at FGV Direito Rio, the Banco Central do Brasil (BCB), and the Fundo Garantidor de Crédito (FGC). At the event, the first panel discussed the challenges and impacts of disinformation on society and the economy, while the second addressed strategies and solutions to combat fake news from regulatory, legal, and educational perspectives. The meeting followed the Chatham House Rule to ensure confidentiality and foster an open environment for debate.
