Proposta de planejamento para a saúde pública em pequenos municípios

Resumo

It aimed to build and analyze future scenarios for the area of public health in small towns in the Passo Fundo region, Rio Grande do Sul. The Grumbach method was chosen because it allows prospecting scenarios from the exchange of information with active expert professionals in the sector. Such experts collaborated analyzing and proposing events, opportunities and threats and their interrelationships that evidence the degree of influence and dependence between events. The main results demonstrate the existence of more propitious events, of significant impact, proposing discussions on what are the resources targeting priorities for health. The study also shows that although public health at the national and state levels find themselves in an unfavorable situation, the municipalities under analysis have established measures that differ from national and state realities. In addition, there is an improvement in the quality of health professionals, as well as increase of awareness campaigns of the population of the cities and, thereby, consequent improvement in the management of the public health in the cities.
