Proposta de ampliação de escala do projeto 'Diálogo com teatro' do Instituto Sou da Paz

Resumo

The present work aims to analyze the feasibility and to present alternatives to expand the Diálogo com Teatro („Dialogue with Theatre‟) Project, so that it can be incorporated at state level for the School Protection System, a public policy of the Department of Education of the São Paulo State (SEE) which aims to prevent and combat school violence. The Diálogo com Teatro Project was developed by the Sou da Paz Institute, based on the Paz Encena Project, a methodology developed to work with youths on a deep reflection on violence and as a way to establish a culture of peace. Since 2011 the Sou da Paz Institute and the SEE became partners in the implementation of this project. Its goal is to train educators in the state system of public education to lead a resourceful reflection on violence and peace culture through theater, a methodology attractive to young people, target population of the project. The first step in the development of this proposal was to assemble comprehensive information on the Sou da Paz Institute and the SEE. A series of interviews were then carried out with the project stakeholders in order to analyse its strengths and vulnerabilities. Then we could finally draw up a thorough diagnosis of the current methodology and build a solid proposal for expansion. The expansion proposal was idealized having as its fundamental principles: the use of the present structure and resources of the SEE, and the decentralization of the project‟s implementation through the training of instructors that already integrate the fixed frame of the Boards of Education (DE). They would then be responsible for the training of school personnel working directly with the students. Thus it becomes necessary to adapt and systematize the methodology so as to preserve the project‟s original characteristics and the quality of its implementation. The central structure of the SEE and the Sou da Paz Institute would together be in charge of managing and overviewing the project‟s implementation, to ensure quality throughout the whole process, particulary in its final application in the schools. Finally, we considered the need for a continuing education program, the constant exchange of experiences and the construction of a web portal that allows the continuous monitoring of the project as a way to strengthen and promote its sustainability on the long run.
