O paradigma do policiamento baseado em evidências na perspectiva da Delegacia Eletrônica

Resumo

This paperwork seeks to examine the experience of implementing the Electronic Police Station in the Civil Police of the State of São Paulo as a way to carry out a public policy of public safety evaluated under the light of the paradigm called evidence-based policing, as proposed by the criminological and public administration literature. As a theoretical foundation, the work was developed from the perspective of analyzing and explaining the theoretical contours of the evidence-based policing paradigm, as well as narrating the meaning of the administrative-organizational experience of implementing the aforementioned police station as a way of assisting the Civil Police of the State of São Paulo. Therefore, initially, the monograph inquires about a conceptualization and the implications of the implementation of the Electronic Police Station in the current organizational context, as well as understanding the impact of this phenomenon in the panorama of public safety. Next, it was necessary to expose and study, albeit briefly and synthetically, the features of the police station as an evidence-based policing organization policy. Then, the operation of the electronic police station was evaluated from the point of view of the public administration tools, to verify its pertinence as a policy that can be evaluated and measured under the light of the evidence-based policing paradigm. Finally, the conclusion of this work tried to relate how the features of the electronic police station can consist of a new environment for the adoption of institutional intelligence tools to increase the responsiveness of the civil police.
