O Brasil e as políticas de mensuração da cooperação para o desenvolvimentoo levantamento COBRADI e o modelo TOSSD

Resumo

The production of data, information and statistics on the increasingly complex field of international development cooperation is key for developing countries to be able to use resources efficiently. This article examines two methods of quantifying international cooperation for development: the Organisation for Economic Co-Operation and Development – OECD’s Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) and the method developed by Ipea within the scope of the Brazilian Cooperation for International Development (Cooperação Brasileira para o Desenvolvimento Internacional – Cobradi) report, identifying points of agreement and divergence. The aim of the text is to examine the effects of the adoption of the TOSSD model by the Brazilian government in reporting the costs of international cooperation for development.
