Modelos de reforma previdenciária de 2019

Resumo

The current paper is to evaluate the Brazilian social security policy, focused on public spending and its future repercussions. Starting with a brief historical analysis of the Brazilian social security origin and its parameters established by the Federal Constitution in 1998, this paper will discuss the presidentes FHC, Lula and Dilma's changes to the policy and the reasons why they weren't lasting - leading to the social security debates and new policy implementation in 2019. This paper will then bring forth Brazil 's social security budget and spending for 2018 and the problems imbued in it. Lastly, this paper will compare the three major social security reforms presented and some insights regarding the debates that took place and the final chosen trajectory the government elect took.
