Inovação em parcerias público-privadas

Resumo

Public-private partnerships are well known all around the world. Its use has been expanding over the years. The present work intends to identify how the research and development employed in these partnerships can contribute with technological innovation for a better performance of these partnerships for the benefit of the private, the public and the social. Brazil has been part of this context particularly since the middle of the 19th century, when the use of this type of partnership has been verified in a well-declared way. The present study verified evidence of innovative activities of the agents of the system, with the actions of Research and Development (R&D). The methodology followed the following order: i) definition and classification of innovation; ii) definition of the concept of Public-Private Partnership; iii) the role adopted by the Government; iv) the different forms of management, evaluation and financing; and v) analysis of the world view with some cases from international experience.
