Incorporação de ritmos e instrumentos moçambicanos na música contemporâneacaso da cidade de Maputo

Resumo

The present work, whose theme is Incorporation of Mozambican rhythms and instruments in contemporary music: Case of the city of Maputo, tells us about the current stage of music made by young people, which has received a lot of criticism at various levels. The central objective is to understand why these musicians prioritize foreign rhythms over national ones when creating their music. As part of this reflection, I propose musical initiatives that contribute to the creation of a Mozambican musical identity, with a view to being known throughout the world. For this study, I tried to listen to various participants such as Musicians, DJs, Radio and TV Presenters, Music Producers, Event Promoters among others who gave their points of view. And in this way, I contribute to the recording of a musical album as a way of rescuing this legacy.
