Determinantes da adoção de inovação no setor públicoestudo de caso na Susep

Resumo

This article aimed to describe the determinants factors of the adoption of the Electronic Information System (SEI) in Superintendência de Seguros Privados (Susep), under the framework proposed by Frambach and Schillewaert (2002). Based on the findings, in then aimed to adapt the model to the peculiarities of the public sector. A qualitative, exploratory and descriptive approach was adopted, based on an integrated case study. Data collection was made through multiple sources. The results indicated that the factors proposed in the framework of the study stood out as determinants of the SEI adoption. However, other factors, not proposed in the original framework, did emerged in the results. Supported by the theory of other authors visited, these findings were incorporated into the initial model, suggesting a new vision of the model. Although the results cannot be generalized for methodological reasons, the new model allows its use in public sector organizations.
