Cadastro Único em númerosuma análise da evolução temporal das famílias presentes no CadÚnico e o impacto do Programa Auxílio Brasil

Resumo

Objective – The study analyzed the behavior of the registration variables of families in the Cadastro Único between the years 2016 and 2023, comparing the evolution of these variables before and after the implementation of the Auxílio Brasil Program. Methodology – Monthly data collection from the Cadastro Único was used to analyze seven socioeconomic variables, evaluating their growth over the period, establishing correlations of behaviors in the Cadastro Único based on the regulations of the income transfer program Auxílio Brasil. Results – The study presented the following results: the impact of Auxílio Brasil on the configuration of families in the Cadastro Único, with an acceleration in the increase of families with fewer members, especially single-person families, as well as the segregation of family nuclei into two or more; the study also demonstrated an acceleration of trends after the Auxílio Brasil Program, such as the aging of the registration base, the reduction of individuals without education, and an increase in individuals with a high school education. Research limitations – The behavioral factor of families was not addressed in this study and presents itself as a possibility for future studies, seeking to understand this movement from the perspective of the families. Applicability of the work – The Cadastro Único is a policy in constant evolution, and this analysis will contribute to this process. Originality – The study advances in understanding the impacts of the Auxílio Brasil and Bolsa Família Programs on the Cadastro Único, deepening the analysis of the variables over the seven years of collected data, with no similar study using the same approach and correlating the evaluated public policies.
