Alternative political-institutional of Metropolitan Region of Salvador (project)

Resumo

Brazilian experience in the institutionalization of metropolitan regions has been focused in countless studies of different purposes and dimensions which present a diversity of views and causes for the identified problems. But not even one, among such studies, was capable of portraying the phenomenon in its composite entirety at the country's level, as well as in terms of the international experience. Against this background the authors intend to reconcile as far as possible anti with a lot of originality these two approaches to the question, particularly by analysing the conditions which characterize Salvador's Metropolitan Regional However. It ''Should finally be pointed out that the main porpose of this research group is somehow to present subsidies for the activities concerned with the elaboration of Brazil's new Constitution.
