Resumo
The scope of this work has been to verify to when extent preparation and follow-up of retirement plans have been privileged in Brazil' s Indirect Public Administration. In also seeks to determine up to which extent the management of such plans has positively been affecting the productivity of the active labour force, as well as whether the management of said plans warrants extended longevity and satisfaction to the retired citizens. The study encompasses four organs in the fields of mining, credit, telecommunications and oil refming, whose headquarters are situated in Rio de Janeiro. The plan action has been focused as from its adoption until enactment oflaw n° 8842, ofjanuary 4, 1994.
