Resumo
In this article, I discuss the validity of generalization on research results in the field of Social and Human Sciences. Furthermore, the analysis pursues shed light on the characteristics of extrapolation, extension and analogy, as well as the fundamental aspects of inductive methods and the restrictions of refutability, operationalism and probabilism. Finally, I draw the significant conclusions on the limit and reach of generalization.
