A flexibilização organizacional através de sistemas integrados de gestão no setor de serviços

Resumo

The objective ofthis work is to evaluate the impact produced on the organizations' workers through the implementation of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, as an instrument of the organizational flexibility. The study were made in companies of the service segment that implanted the ERP system from the company SAP AG, through questionnaires and interviews accomplished directly with the involved workers. The main impacts for the workers were: increase in the pressure ofthe work, demand for larger training, reduction of the supervision leveI, increase in the quality, speed and complexity of the work and reduction of personal. The leveI of the workers' participation was diversified but very low: in the training process, on the flow of information along the project, on the possibility to suggest improvements and on influencing the conduction of the project. The objectives planned with the ERP implementation were reached and the workers are satisfied with the system as an instrument for working. The low possibility to give suggestions of improvement along the project, taking also in account that there were a good index of acceptance of the suggestions when were allowed to be given, confirm the hypothesis that the organizations' social potential was not taken enough in account, what inhibited improvements for the companies. The personnel's reduction, the low leveI of the worker's participation in important steps of the project and the low levei of possibility to give suggestions for the project, confirm the tendency of increasing the use of the labor and of the worker's knowledge in detriment of its emancipation as active and participant agent of the administration and, therefore, constraining the efTective organizational flexibility.
