Resumo

This study was motivated by World Health Organization (WHO) concerns about the possible occurrence of psychological fatigue in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, which could affect adherence to the proposed protective measures. By the end of 2020, at a time in the pandemic when many countries were experiencing a severe resurgence of the disease after many months of restrictive policies, the study provided robust evidence of temporal variation in adherence to protective behaviors.
